Live build for Picking Up The Pieces

Picking Up The Pieces is a personal writing practice about girlhood, womanhood and motherhood. The brief was warmth without clutter: the reader should land, feel welcomed, and start reading. The build pairs a soft editorial layout with a blog that stays fast as the archive grows, a newsletter signup that does not interrupt, and typography chosen so long-form posts are genuinely comfortable to read on a phone — which is where nearly all of the traffic is.
